Seasonal Herb Walks

The study of herbal medicine would not be complete without the observation of plants in the wild or at least in cultivation.  Seasonal fluctuations, weather permitting and depending upon the growing season we schedule herb walks where we can get the best view of our green allies. 

Herb Walk Schedule

Come prepared for a day of outdoor enjoyment as we stroll through the park

looking for edible and medicinal plants to discuss.  Fun for all ages - get to know the plants growing around you.  Bring a beverage, lunch and what you normally would for a day hike as well as a pen, notepad and plant ID books if desired.

Pre-registration required

Fee: $30.00 per person or $50.00 per couple – bring a friend and get a discount.

This fee does not include any park entrance fees.

Willamette Mission State Park  NW Salem    10AM – 3PM

Meet by 10AM in the Filbert Grove Day Use area.
